Chloe Bennet Joins Jonas Brothers in Disney+ Christmas Movie (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comEthan Shanfeld Chloe Bennet will join the Jonas Brothers in their upcoming Christmas comedy movie for Disney+. The “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Interior Chinatown” actor will play Joe Jonas’ love interest in the film, which is slated for the 2025 holiday season.
Variety announced the project, which has the working title “Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie,” on Tuesday. It sees Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas burnt out after a six-month tour, eager to get home to their families to celebrate Christmas.
Joe, on the other hand, feels disconnected from his brothers and wishes they could spend more time together. As they try to make it home to New York from London, a random disaster — or is it a Christmas miracle? — keeps them stranded overseas. “To find their way home, they’ll need to rediscover what it means to be brothers,” per the logline.
Bennet’s character, Lucy, is a cardiothoracic surgeon and childhood friend of Joe’s. Sparks fly when they bump into each other at the airport.
