Russian forces have reportedly bombed a maternity hospital in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol leaving children trapped under the wreckage, the country's president Volodymyr Zelensky stated.

He posted horrifying footage showing the aftermath of the callous attack on the medical centre, with early reports suggesting 17 victims were injured in strike.

Ukrainian leader Zelenksy shared the video to Twitter, once again condemning Russian atrocities as Putin continues his ruthless campaign of targeting civilians and the vulnerable in the war-torn nation.
