Emergency services have been called to a scene on Yorkshire Street in Rochdale following a road traffic collision. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed that they have rescued two women and two children from the vehicles involved.
They added that the four people were then taken to hospital. A witness told the Manchester Evening News that two cars were involved in the collision, which GMFRS has confirmed.
Images from the incident show multiple emergency services vehicles present, including police, land and air ambulances, and fire and rescue crews.
