The cause of death of former child star Adam Rich has been revealed.The 54-year-old was found dead inside his LA home, more than five months ago in January.
A report from Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office, has now confirmed that Rich died due to "effects of fentanyl." The report concluded that the manner of his dead was an "accident" on January 8.
When Adam's death was first announced by his family, they told TMZ that law enforcement officers believed there had been no foul play or suspicious circumstances.The American actor was once named as VH1's list of the 100 greatest child stars.
He was best known for appearing in the 1970s show Eight Is Enough, when he was just eight years old. Adam played Nicholas Bradford, the youngest child of Tom Bradford (Dick Van Patten) and his wife (Diana Hyland).
