A child and two adults were left injured after a major crash in Oldham on Saturday (December 21). Emergency crews, including the fire service, paramedics and police, raced to the incident on Oldham Way at around 4.30pm.
Two cars appeared to have smashed into each other in the head-on collision. The main road was closed off amid the emergency response and for investigations to be carried out.
All those involved had gotten out of the vehicles by the time emergency services arrived at the scene. They suffered non life-threatening injuries but were treated by paramedics, the fire service said.
Pictures from the scene showed both red cars involved left with badly damaged bumpers after colliding on the carriageway. Further details about the incident have not yet been confirmed by police.
