CBS takes the crown for Week 7 of the NFL regular season, with a little help from the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL on CBS late national window hosted the team’s defeat of the Los Angeles Chargers in a majority of markets, averaging 24.38M viewers.
Not only was it the most-watched NFL game this week, it is also the most-watched Week 7 game window for CBS in a decade. In the earlier regional game window, led by the Bills-Patriots game in about 50% of markets, CBS scored 15.7M viewers.
That’s the network’s most-watched Week 7 regional game since 1998. Overall, the doubleheader averaged 19.73M viewers, which is also a Week 7 best for CBS (since 1998).
According to Paramount Global, streaming viewership on Paramount+ has continued to register double-digit year-over-year growth each week this season (though the company did not provide any data).
