Audiences in the U.S. were awake bright and early on Sunday to watch the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Miami Dolphins from Frankfurt, Germany.
Despite a 9:30 a.m. ET start time, the matchup is now the most-watched NFL Network international game on record with 9.6M people tuning in.
The audience was up 66% versus last season’s Week 10 international game in Munich. That matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed an audience of 5.8M.
According to the NFL, streaming for the game was also favorable with an average audience of 465,000, up 80% versus last year’s Munich game.
