‘Chicago Fire’ Hires Dermot Mulroney As New Fire Chief
deadline.comDermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Anyone But You) has been cast in NBC‘s Chicago Fire as Chief Dom Pascal for the upcoming thirteenth season.
As Deadline revealed exclusively in June, the hit Wolf Entertainment firefighter drama was adding a new series regular character to lead 51 following the exit of Eamonn Walker — who had played Battalion Chief Wallace Boden for 12 seasons — as a series regular at the end of Season 12.
No official details about Mulroney’s characters have been revealed. According to sources, Dom Pascal began his career with the CFD but spent the last decade as a chief in Sunny Miami.
Described as a cheerful person who works well under pressure, and whose leadership style differs from Boden’s, Pascal is estranged from his wife.
