Chessington Zoo has hit back at a dad's scathing review of its post lockdown animal kingdom which he said was "just not worth it" Matt Strudwick said he had been let down by the experience after his family spent a day the zoo in Surrey which reopened its doors to animal lovers on June 24 after being closed for nearly three months.
In an opinion piece for Surrey Live where he works as the content editor, Matt described how cones taped together direct visitors into the car park of the zoo and a sign warns your temperature will be checked before you are allowed to enter.
Once inside there are one way signs everywhere and hand sanitisers every five metres but the two metre social distancing guidelines were also impossible to adhere at times.
