That led to loan links to Premier League rivals Fulham, but it seems as though the young defender is not willing to sign up for another period away from Stamford Bridge.
Goal have reported that Ampadu is hoping to prove his ability to Lampard during the 2020/21 season, and he believes that he can help out with their recent defensive woes.
