However, defeat to the Foxes, twinned with their midweek Premier League defeat to Arsenal have left their season on a knife-edge.
Chelsea face Manchester City in the Champions League final at the end of this month, but their first priority is ensuring a top four finish.
They face Leicester again tonight, knowing that defeat would open the door for Liverpool to usurp them by the end of the season.
