dailystar.co.ukChelsea boss Frank Lampard has asked the club to sign Real Madrid star Luka Jovic on loan this transfer window. The Serbia international has had a tough time since moving to the Bernabeu last summer.
After joining for a mammoth €65m fee from Eintracht Frankfurt, Jovic has scored just twice in all competitions. Zinedine Zidane has not been impressed by the striker since his arrival.
But Los Blancos do not want to give up hope on their big-money signing so easily. It has led to Real looking at temporary solutions in an attempt to bolster his morale and get the goals going once again, as he did last season.
Jovic netted 27 times for Frankfurt in the 2018/19 season, who made his loan from Benfica permanent ahead of his move to Real Madrid.
