Chelsea coach Christophe Lollichon has revealed that the Blues are worried about potential changes from FIFA regarding limitations on how many players clubs can send out on loan.
Football’s governing body changed regulations last week concerning how many players clubs can send out and get in on loan, should they be approved by their council.
Initially, the new FIFA rules are planning to reduce the amount to eight international loan deals involving players aged 22 or over per year.
But from the 2022-23 season, that could be reduced to six. Chelsea sent out a whopping 41 players on loan last season - that’s just three less than four full teams.
