Chelsea, showing the Blues have finally found a long-term replacement for Petr Cech.It had been hoped that Thibaut Courtois or Kepa Arrizabalaga could fill the void left by the Czech shot-stopper.Cech won four Premier League Golden Glove awards for most clean sheets in a season though Chelsea have looked shaky at the back since his 2015 departure.They made Kepa the world’s most expensive goalkeeper after spending £72m to take him to Stamford Bridge from west London.Though the Spaniard is now behind Mendy in the pecking order with the summer signing impressing since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel.Since Tuchel’s first game in charge of Chelsea in January, no goalkeeper playing for a top five European league side has kept more clean sheets in.
