Mussie Imnetu, a top chef who has worked under Gordon Ramsay, is fighting for his life after being attacked near Notting Hill Carnival and left in critical condition.
Met police confirmed that the chef - who was reportedly visiting London for business from Dubai, where he currently lives was discovered unconscious by police on Monday (26 August) after sustaining a head injury.The Metropolitan Police said that officers from the force provided first aid until paramedics arrived at the scene.
On Wednesday (28 August) morning, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody. However, the Met Police is still appealing for anyone with more information to come forward.The force added that they were taking the "unusual step" of naming Mussie, 41, due to his critical injuries.
