Kelsey Grammer is hoping for a season three of the Frasier revival despite its cancellation, and suggests that a crossover project with Cheers could still happen.Frasier’s original run was from 1993 to 2004, and focused on Grammer’s character Frasier Crane, who first appeared as a supporting character in Cheers.
It returned in 2023 and ran for two seasons before Paramount+ announced its cancellation in January.Grammer told the New York Post on March 6 that he’s been speaking to Ted Danson, who played lead character Sam Malone in Cheers, about working together on a crossover project.“Ted and I might actually visit something together, we’ve been talking about it,” he said. “A couple ideas, maybe on Frasier.
