Pub goers in Dundee pay £2.11 less for each pint they drink than those in London, new figures show. Research from comparison site finder.com found the Scottish city has the cheapest pints of any major settlement in Britain at £3.09.
By contrast, people drinking in the English capital pay £5.19 a pint. Overall, it's bad news for people out socialising, with the average cost of a pint across the country rising from £3.70 in 2019 to £3.94 today.
