A supermarket which has been the cheapest for these shopping essentials every week for a year has announced a big change to its stores.
Every single week since the end of January last year, Lidl has worked out cheapest out of the six main supermarkets for our basket of eight key items.

Join our FREE Manchester Family WhatsApp group by clicking here The move, to replace all its paper pricing tags, follows a successful trial in 35 stores and Lidl says every one of its stores should have the new labels by the end of the year.
It says it will help 'drive efficiency' in its stores because workers will spend less time manually updating the price tags and be able to focus on things such as helping customers and restocking shelves.
