Princess Charlotte and Prince George were seen to "prove Meghan wrong" after their behaviour at the ITV Royal Family Christmas Concert.Greeting their grandparents King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, the children gave them plenty of kisses and cuddles - contrary to what Meghan has said about the family's "formality".These comments were made in Harry and Meghan's bombshell Netflix documentary - the latest instalment of which came on Thursday, December 15.ITV royal editor Chris Ship said: "The senior Royal Family chose tonight to put on a show of unity - and even some public displays of affection between father/son and grandad/grandchildren. (You might even spot one of those hugs that Meghan said Brits find so 'jarring'?) I’m sure it’s all just coincidence."Earlier this month, Meghan claimed she was "surprised" by how formal the royal family were behind the scenes.

Speaking in episode two of the six-part Harry & Meghan Netflix series, she said: "When Will and Kate came over, and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner, I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot."I was a hugger.

I've always been a hugger, I didn't realise that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits."I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside."There is a forward-facing way of being, and then you close the door and go 'You can relax now', but that formality carries over on both sides.

And that was surprising to me."Members of the royal family have declined to comment on the documentary, which completed filming in August 2022 before the Queen passed away.
