justjared.comThe Old Guard 2 has officially begun production! Charlize Theron and KiKi Layne were spotted on the set of the upcoming Netflix film on Friday (June 17) in Rome, Italy.
Also joining the leading ladies was Chiwetel Ejiofor, who appeared in the original film with them. The first movie had an end credits scene that teased a sequel and we’re so excited to find out what happens next.
Not much is known about the plot so far, but make sure to look back at the details from the first movie’s ending to get a sense of what’s to come.
The Old Guard followed a covert group of tight-knit mercenaries, led by a warrior named Andy (Theron), with a mysterious inability to die.
