Charles' 'slimmed down' royal family beams in historic portrait - with no Harry

Long before he became King we'd heard talk of the then Prince Charles' plans for a 'slimmed down' Royal family. And as the official photographs of King Charles and Queen Camilla's Coronation are released, we now get to see what that looks like in practise.

In a vibrant regal image we see the King and Queen surrounded by their inner circle - with the to be expected but still notable omission of Charles' beloved son Prince Harry.

In one of the four official images released by the palace we see show Charles, Camilla, and all working members of the Royal Family.These are, in full and from left to right - The Duke of Kent, The Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Princess Royal, The King, The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Princess of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Alexandra, the Hon.

Lady Ogilvy, The Duke of Edinburgh. Taken in Buckingham Palace's suitably majestic Throne Room, the image is a historic portrait of the Royal Family as it now stands in 2023.
