Actress Charlbi Dean has died aged 32 after a "sudden illness". She was best known for her role on CW show Black Lightning, playing the role of Syonide.
She also starred opposite Woody Harrelson in the upcoming film Triangle of Sadness. Reps for the star’s family told TMZ that she died following an "unexpected sudden illness." TMZ reports that the popular South African actress passed away on Monday from the unexpected sudden illness, and the publication also reported that a source told them that she passed away in a hospital in New York City.
As well as being an up-and-coming actress, Charlbi was also a successful model and she starred in many campaigns. Her last Instagram post was just five days ago when she was promoting such a campaign, as she looked stunning in a black and white shot wearing jeans and a corset top.
She was best known for her role on Black Lightening, where her character, Syonide, is an assassin with bulletproof skin and lethal combat skills.
