In fresh confusion for holidaymakers, despite Grant Shapps' announcement that the Canary Islands are back on the quarantine list, the Foreign Office continues to allow for 'non-essential travel' to the destinations.
Brits returning to the UK from the Canaries after 4am on December 12 will be required to self-isolate for 14 days.
