A single mum was left in tears on Channel 5’s Rich House Poor House after a millionaire transformed her home and helped her kick off her entrepreneurial dreams.Julie was up front and honest with her money struggles as she appeared on the reality show, as she admitted she found it hard to survive on just £59 per week following the collapse of her business three years ago.

Her popular doggy daycare service ran into issues during the pandemic, and she was forced to axe her company before finding herself swimming in debt.

Now working in a care home, she faced huge pressures to pay off credit cards and loans, and with a bad credit rating, the mum-of-two was finding it hard to keep her head above water financially.Appearing on Channel 5, as reports the Mirror, viewers saw Julie swap lives with millionaire Jazz for a week, as she admitted she was taking part in a bid to kick start a new chapter.

She said: "It was a well established company, and then COVID hit and instantly shut me down. I had no income, I wasn’t able to pay my bank loan, credit card and other things like that.
