Channel 4 is leveraging AI for its latest big reality bet – a series in which singletons have to tell the truth or lose prize money.
Hosted by Vicky Pattison and Lucinda Light, The Honesty Box [working title] for E4 is the network’s latest show funded by its contestable pot and will use an AI-enhanced software to sniff out liars.
Singletons will meet in paradise looking for love with a £100,000 ($130,000) prize fund up for grabs. Each day they will face the Honesty Box software and be asked probing questions about their feelings.
If it detects deception, the Box could impact their newly formed relationship and the prize fund. The show follows the latest trend kicked off by the likes of Too Hot to Handle and Squid Game: The Challenge for prize funds to dwindle rather than being built up during the course of the series.
