Channel 4 Gogglebox stars Pete and Sophie's home hides incredible 'illusion'

Gogglebox siblings Pete and Sophie Sandiford have given fans more of an insight into their living room - and it's actually a lot bigger than it looks on TV.The charming pair let us into their home every Friday night, with Pete always lounging on the sofa, while Sophie enjoys her big yellow armchair and footstool to match.Their hilarious banter, strong Blackpool accents and loveable relationship have won over the hearts of the entire nation, writes Liverpool Echo.But the inside of their house is all an illusion, as certain posts from Sophie on Instagram of the very same room with the very same walls show the sofa looks much larger.The rustic looking brick-effect wall is the background for the huge grey sofa that seems to dwarf Pete in a photo posted by Sophie.Perhaps a trick of the camera, the walls also appear to be much taller suggesting the property has higher ceilings than seen on the show.

As if that wasn't enough food for thought, Sophie has also posted a picture of the pair's TV.Mounted on a plain white wall with a small fireplace below is the Sandiford's TV.

The inception style post showed Sophie watching herself and her brother on the show - while it wasn't clear in the post, the chances of her sitting on the exact same chair are quite likely.Potentially one of the more lavish rooms in the house is the kitchen.

This part of the house is never shown during the show but Sophie has posted a series of videos and pictures of Pete fooling around in the kitchen.It's clear to see the kitchen is very modern with a large grey fridge-freezer fitted with a water dispenser on the door.
