Gogglebox's Giles Wood and Mary Killen quickly became popular on the hit Channel 4 show for their dry sense of humour. But the eccentric pair are a bit of a mystery.

The husband-and-wife duo, who refer to each other as 'nutty', have been married more than 30 years. Every Friday night, we see a glimpse into their homelife inside their cluttered Wiltshire cottage, with the odd snippet shared of their personal lives. Mary is now the Spectator's resident agony aunt and writes a column using her etiquette expertise - as well as being the author of many books, including 2012's How the Queen Can Make You Happy.

While Giles contributes to online magazine The Oldie, he retired at an incredibly early age and has a rarely-mentioned second job.
