Viewers eagerly awaiting the return of much-loved 90s TV favourite Changing Rooms are facing disappointment amid reports that filming has ground to a halt.
The new look home improvement show, which has moved to Channel from the BBC, has been left unable to continue production in lockdown and filming may not resume until next year, according to The Sun.
Explaining the production headache, a show insider said: "You can’t just descend on someone’s home right in the middle of the lockdown. "The safety of the cast and crew is most important for Channel 4 and, while some of it can be put together in a safe environment, the bulk of the filming just cannot happen at the moment." A revamped series of the DIY show was confirmed last month.
