Chadwick Boseman has posthumously been awarded the 2021 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role.
The actor, who passed away at the age of 43 in August last year following a four-year battle with colon cancer, won the award for his performance in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
His widow Taylor Simone Ledward accepted the award in his place and was emotional in her acceptance speech at the virtual ceremony.
She thanked the film's cast and crew, including playwright August Wilson whose 1984 play was adapted into the Netflix film starring her late husband and actress Viola Davis.
