Another twist as more details continue to trickle in on the UnitedHealthcare CEO killing case. Earlier this month, the international insurance company’s chief executive officer Brian Thompson was shot to death on a Manhattan sidewalk in the early morning hours prior to one of the company’s board meetings.
In the aftermath, a national manhunt ensued to find his killer. And days ago, a 26-year-old man named Luigi Mangione was arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania and charged with murder in connection to Thompson’s death.
Ever since, the New York Police Department‘s detectives — as well as a bevy of social media sleuths — have been poring over the case.
In recent days, evidence has continued to mount against Mangione. Too much evidence for some critics’ liking as internet investigators have uncovered all kinds of creepy conspiracies.
