Celtic are on the verge of scooping £4.2m for Oh Hyeon-gyu with the hitman agreeing personal terms on a switch to Genk. The 23-year-old has been in talks with the Belgian outfit in the last 48 hours and is understood to have thrashed out terms on a move.
Celtic have yet to rubber stamp the deal but are unlikely to stand in Oh’s way after the frontman slipped down the pecking order at Parkhead.
The South Korea star made just three sub appearances for the Hoops after the turn of the year after the arrival of Adam Idah on loan from Norwich City.
Boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on snapping up the Canaries ace on a permanent deal but could be made to wait until after the Championship side return for pre-season training next month.
