Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic squad revealed as Neil Lennon ponders changes for St Johnstone trip

Nir Bitton will miss Sunday's trip to St Johnstone with a twisted ankle. The Israel international was injured early in the Hoops' 1-0 Europa League play-off win over Sarajevo on Thursday night.

He is, however, set to be named in the Israel squad for the upcoming international break, despite Celtic boss Neil Lennon ruling him out.

Striker Albian Ajeti remains out with a hamstring problem and winger James Forrest is still sidelined with an ankle injury.Lennon could look to freshen up the side following the midweek trip to Bosnia, with David Turnbull having impressed off the bench against Hibs last week.

Meanwhile, St Johnstone welcome Callum Booth back into their squad for the McDiarmid Park. The left-back has been missing since the third.
