Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Coatbridge's Stephen Welsh hasn't suffered an injury on international duty ahead of Sunday's game with Rangers. The centre-back hobbled off during Scotland's u21s duty midweek against Kazakhstan with what appeared to be a groin injury.Welsh has been a regular in Celtic squads this season but hasn't made a Premiership appearance since December. An international knock looked to have killed the 22-year-old's chances of featuring against Rangers, who are three points behind the Hoops in the title race. But in an optimistic update, Postecoglou says everyone apart from James Forrest is available for the match. The Australian said: "Everyone got through the international break injury-wise.

The only one that is not available is James Forrest."He's got a bit of niggle from his last game. But everyone else has returned from international duty ok, and the rest have trained all week."A product of the Parkhead academy, Welsh has made 22 appearances for Celtic this season.Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
