Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Neil Lennon 's side are due to face KR Reykjavik in the first of this season's Champions League qualifiers on that day. And UEFA 's coronavirus restrictions mean the launch event at Celtic Park has had to be pushed back 24 hours.

However, Celtic fans who have already pre-ordered can still expect to receive their kits in time for Tuesday. A statement on the club's website said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances around UEFA restrictions placed on the stadium next week, we have unfortunately had no choice but to postpone the highly anticipated launch of the adidas x Celtic FC 2020/21 Away Kit launch."But don’t worry, for those who have pre-ordered online already, your kit should still be with you on Tuesday, August 18, but for those holding off.
