Tam McManus has branded Celtic fans disrupting the minute's silence before the clash with Kilmarnock as "embarrassing."It was a positive result on the pitch at Rugby Park for Celtic thanks to goals from Callum McGregor and Nicolas Kuhn, but the post-match fallout has centred around the antics of the away end before a ball was even kicked.

Killie and the Hoops joined clubs across the country in holding a minute of contemplation ahead of kick-off for Remembrance Day but the tribute was disrupted by signing and booing from sections of the Hoops' support.

Killie boss Derek McInnes branded the disruption "awful" as he took aim at the Celtic fans post-match after referee Nick Walsh was forced to end the moment of silence after just nine seconds.

Brendan Rodgers also fielded questions on the incident conceding it was a "difficult one" for the Premiership leaders every year.
