Lizzie Pickavance was just 20 years old at the time, and was returning from work in Manchester when she lost control of her car on the M62 near Gildersome and the vehicle smashed into a tree.
He opened up about the night she died to love counsellors Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson on E4' Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion. "She passed away.
She didn't come home one morning," he told them. "She fell asleep at the wheel, she used to work nights, I used to wait for her every single night.
