Celebrity Big Brother history was made back in 2006 when Chantelle Houghton became the first civilian housemate to enter and win the star-studded reality show.The former glamour model, who pretended to be from girlband Kandy Floss, was sent in as a non-celebrity with the task of persuading her celebrity housemates that she was famous.
She emerged as the winner of the series and scooped a prize of £25,000 after beating off competition from the likes of Michael Barrymore, Pete Burns and Maggot.
Chantelle went on to marry her housemate Samuel Preston of The Ordinary Boys the same year and became a celebrity in her own right.
Ahead of the return of CBB on Monday (April 7), hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best have addressed whether or not they'd like to see the twist resurrected almost two decades later.
