Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English television personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex, and following further appearances on television, she became a contestant on the seventeenth series of Celebrity Big Brother and the eleventh series of Dancing on Ice.
In August 2019, she began starring in her own reality series, Gemma Collins: Diva Forever.
Three iconic ex-housemates have turned down hefty six-figure sums to return to the Celebrity Big Brother house. Despite production's keen interest in bringing back these fan favourites, it appears the stars have passed up the tempting offers.
Gemma Collins, aged 44, and the dynamic pop duo Jedward, aged 33, are among some of the most unforgettable personalities from the series, yet they've opted out of another round in the spotlight.
Harry Clark, who emerged victorious on The Traitors in 2024, is also said to have taken a pass on the proposition. A source spilled the tea to The Sun's Bizarre column: "Gemma Collins and Jedward were both offered deals reaching into six figures." They elaborated, "They both love attention and the show but felt like it would be a step backwards." On the other hand, Mickey Rourke seems to have snagged a lucrative deal for his appearance on the ITV reality spectacle. The 72 year old Hollywood legend, celebrated for his roles in films like The Wrestler and 9 1/2 Weeks, is reportedly the latest celeb to sign up for the show, which launches on April 7 and concludes on April 25, reports the Mirror.
Insiders whisper that Rourke, with an estimated net worth of £3.8 million, is set to pocket a handsome amount to feature alongside other celebrities including JoJo Siwa, 20, Chesney Hawkes, 52, and Patsy Palmer, 51.That said, rumours are swirling about the possibility of the A-lister cutting his stint short, which could really throw a wrench in the works for the producers.
