Rabbie Burns lovers are gearing up to celebrate the bard’s birthday this month – and what better way to raise a dram to Scotland’s national poet than by joining in a virtual event streamed straight from his birthplace.

Following the success of last year, The National Trust for Scotland will once again live stream a jam-packed programme of poems, songs and entertainment from the humble cottage in Alloway where Robert Burns was born and spent his early years.
