Officers have released CCTV footage showing a man they wish to speak to following an alleged burglary at a city centre apartment block.

Police are investigating an incident at a building on Newton Street, in the Northern Quarter. Greater Manchester Police says it received reports of a man introducing himself as a delivery driver, before making his way to the building's parcel area.

The suspect then reportedly left the building with two bags containing residents' parcels. GMP shared CCTV footage this morning (December 10) showing a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on Wednesday, November 27, at around 12.20pm.

The footage appears to show a man in a woolly hat entering an apartment building and walking quickly upstairs at the entrance.
