CCTV captured the chilling moment two university students happily chatted as they walked home from a night out in Nottingham, unaware that just moments later they would be dead.
At around 4am on June 13 last year, Valdo Calocane emerged from the bushes dressed all in black armed with a dagger and stabbed them both to death in the street.
The pair were just 200 meters away from their student accommodation block. Calocane left the scene calmly, later calling his brother to tell him "this will be the last time I speak to you", before going on to brutally kill a third person and run over three more with a stolen van.
