Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a car crash victim was assaulted and 'subjected to ongoing threats and demands for payment'.
The incident is linked to a minor road traffic collision that took place in Blackburn six months prior. According to officers, the man's vehicle was rear-ended on Whalley Old Road last year.
Following the collision, he was pursued home and threatened. Blackburn with Darwen Police said the victim has since been subjected to ongoing threats and demands for payment.
He was later attacked by a man on Whalley Old Road at around 2.15pm on Monday, April 16, reports Lancs Live.
