It appears CBS came out on top for Week 2 of the NFL regular season. The broadcaster boasted the most-watched game of the week with the Cowboys’ 30-10 defeat of the New York Jets.
The late Sunday afternoon game drew 25.78M viewers, which was the most-watched program on any network since the Super Bowl. In the early game window, CBS managed 16.15M viewers for the Chiefs-Jaguars matchup, up 17% from the same window last year. It was the most-watched Week 2 regional game window since 1998.
Overall, CBS averaged 21.15M viewers across its Sunday doubleheader. Fox’s single header was split regionally across the country.
