New York’s “Catwoman” Jocelyn Wildenstein has passed away. Her partner Lloyd Klein broke the news to AFP, revealing Jocelyn suffered a pulmonary embolism — an artery blockage due to a blood clot.
Sadly, doctors weren’t able to save her in time and she died in Paris as a complication of the condition. There are conflicting reports of her age — something she worked very hard to achieve, tbh — but her partner said she was 79. But Jocelyn has been a mainstay among controversial NYC figures for decades. Back in the ’90s she rose to fame after divorcing billionaire Alec Wildenstein — and quickly became known for her heavy amounts of cosmetic surgery.
The procedures she underwent gave her those trademark feline-like features, something she apparently asked for specifically — all of which earned her the nickname “Catwoman”.
