The former Coronation Street star revealed today that her dad was so unwell he ended up in hospital, but was told he would be better off at home as he was not in “direct danger”.
Cath, 36, says she is desperate to see them but due to lockdown has only been able to drop food parcels at the end of their driveway.
She spoke to Lorraine Kelly and Dr Hilary Jones on Good Morning Britain earlier today, saying that it is “worrying times” for her and her family.
