Catherine O’Hara will reprise her “Sally” character from 1993’s The Nightmare Before Christmas for one of three 30th anniversary concerts at the Hollywood Bowl just in time for Halloween.
The concert will reunite O’Hara with her Nightmare co-star Danny Elfman, who will sing the Jack Skellington role all three nights, Oct.
27-29. Elfman wrote the music for the 1993 Disney animated film. Singer-songwriter Halsey will perform the role of Sally on the first two nights of the concert series – October 27 and 28, with O’Hara taking over for the Oct.
29 show. Other concert guests include Fred Armisen (as Lock), Riki Lindhome (as Shock) and Ken Page (Oogie Boogie). Conductor John Mauceri will lead the full orchestra and choir.
