A care home manager is being bold by going bald.Kelly Henderson, who runs Community Integrated Care’s home at Carlingwark House in Castle Douglas, is set to have her hair shaved off to say thanks to the staff and residents for the admirable way they have coped during lockdown.She’s hoping to raise £2,500 which will be used to buy goodies including reminiscence packs, iPads, jigsaws and pampering packs for her team.Kelly said: “I wanted to give something back to the staff and residents because it has been very difficult for them.“For me, getting my head shaved is the boldest thing I can do.
