It’s official: the ‘C’ in CMT Music Awards stands for Carrie. Carrie Underwood won video of the year at the fan-voted show for the eighth time with "Drinking Alone." No other artist has won in that category more than three times since the show launched in 2002.
Underwood also won female video of the year for the eighth time, also for "Drinking Alone." Underwood is also the leader in that category.
Runner-up is Miranda Lambert with five wins. Luke Bryan took male video of the year for the third time for "One Margarita." He previously won for "I Don’t Want This Night to End" (2012) and "Play It Again" (2015).
Dan + Shay won duo video of the year for the third consecutive year for "I Should Probably Go to Bed." They previously won for.
