Sue Johnston was devastated by the 2016 death of her Royle Family co-star Caroline Aherne, breaking down on national TV over her loss.
The pair played mother Barbara and daughter Denise on the BBC show for 14 years, and Sue, 77, has said that not a day goes by when she doesn't think of the star who she loved like a 'daughter'.
