Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Carole Baskin's former flame Alan Schreier lifted the lid on their sex life. The Big Cat Rescue star has rocketed to international fame almost overnight with her appearance on docuseries Tiger King.

Now her ex Alan has come forward to share the secrets of their love story which didn't feature in the series. The retired real estate developer, 70, claimed he dated the Tiger King star for three years between 1999 and 2001.

Their romance blossomed shortly after her husband Don Lewis mysteriously disappeared in 1997. Alan spilled all his ex's raunchy secrets as he claimed she loved to get hot and heavy in the hot tub.

He made wild claims Carole had a "very high sex drive" and he suggested this was the reason their relationship lasted so long.
